Record your own narration

This works on every plan and needs no voice clone.

1. In the editor, under Narration script, find Record your own narration and press Record.
2. Press Start recording and allow microphone access when the browser asks.
3. After a countdown the lines scroll in time with the film. Read each one as it lights up. A line marked (pause) means no narration on that shot.
4. Press Stop, then listen back under How does it sound?
5. Press Use this take, or Record again.
6. Press Apply changes to render with your voice.

Use a quiet room and keep the phone or laptop at arm's length. If you edit the script afterwards, record again; the take does not change with the text. Captions follow your recording.

To go back to the AI voice, press Use AI voice in the same place.

If the browser says it needs microphone access, allow it in the site settings and press Start recording again.
