Virtual twilight
Virtual twilight: a dusk exterior from your daytime photo
A real twilight shoot means the photographer comes back after sunset, works a short window of good light, and hopes the clouds cooperate. A virtual twilight edit starts from the daytime exterior you already have.

Same house, two hours later

The sky changed, the windows warmed up, the light on the siding dropped. The house, the trees and the driveway did not. That last part is the whole point.
Pick the right exterior
The best candidates have plenty of sky and plenty of glass. A two storey colonial shot straight on, with eight front windows, gives the edit lots of places to put warm light. A ranch shot from below with two small windows does not, and tends to come out as a dark house under a purple sky.
Clear weather in the original helps. Heavy overcast is harder to turn into a believable dusk, and wet pavement reflects the daytime sky in a way the edit cannot fully fix.
Use one, and put it at the start or the end
Our opinion: one twilight per listing. It works because it is the exception. Three dusk shots in a gallery of daylight interiors start to look like a filter.
In the film, a twilight exterior is a natural first frame on Reels and TikTok, where the opening decides everything, or a natural last frame before a short end card. On portals and the listing website it makes a cover photo that stands out from a row of noon exteriors. It also prints well on a sign rider flyer next to the QR code.
Honest twilight
A twilight edit should change the sky and the light and nothing else. No new landscaping, no fresh lawn, no missing power lines, no neighbour's garage painted out. Those cross from presentation into misrepresentation.
Disclosure rules for digitally altered photos vary by MLS and by state; California's AB 723 is the strictest well known one. Property Video Generator labels every twilight edit "Digitally enhanced" in the photo, the film and the listing website, and keeps your original.
Try one free
The twilight preview makes one watermarked dusk version of a photo with no sign up, so you can judge it on your own house. Inside a listing, twilight is one of the photo tools and counts as one photo edit (5 per listing free, 10 on Starter, 20 on Pro, 40 on Studio). The film picks up the edited version automatically.

Questions
Questions agents ask.
Is virtual twilight allowed on the MLS?
Usually, with disclosure. Check your MLS rules. Property Video Generator labels the edit for you.
Does it change the house?
It should only change the sky and the light. If an edit alters the building or the landscaping, discard it.
Can I use the free preview in my listing?
It is watermarked and low resolution, so no. Make the edit inside a listing for a clean, labelled version.
How many twilight shots should a listing have?
One. It stands out because it is the only one, and it gives the film an obvious first or last frame.
