A luxury listing film fails in a different way from a starter home reel. It is rarely too slow. It is usually too busy: fast cuts, loud music, captions flying in. Money looks calm on camera.

Our blunt opinion on pacing
Hold the hero shots for four to six seconds. Let a move finish before the cut. Use one caption at a time, small, and never over the best part of the frame. If you would not see it in a brokerage's print magazine, cut it.

A worked example: a $2.1M waterfront in Tampa
Five bedrooms on Davis Islands, 38 photos from the photographer including six twilight frames and four drone stills of the dock and the bay.
- Open on the dock at dusk, drone still, slow crane down, 5 seconds. Spoken hook: "Ninety feet of seawall on Davis Islands."
- Pool and lanai toward the water, push in, 4 seconds.
- Great room with the wall of glass, orbit right, 5 seconds.
- Kitchen, push in on the island, 4 seconds.
- Primary suite with the water view, pull out, 4.5 seconds.
- Primary bath, hold, 3 seconds.
- Three short beats: wine room, office, guest suite, 2 to 2.5 seconds each.
- Front elevation at twilight, crane up, 4 seconds.
- Dock again, wider, hold for the end card, 4 seconds.
Sixteen of 38 photos, 52 seconds, narrated in a measured voice. The widescreen cut goes on YouTube and the listing website, the 4:5 runs in the feed and the vertical on Reels. The unbranded MLS cut goes in the virtual tour field.
Be honest about the drone
Waterfront and acreage sell on the aerial. We do not accept drone video, but we do work from drone stills: a good aerial photo with a slow crane or push reads well in a film.
Two cautions. Do not have a generated shot invent an aerial you never flew. Our optional hero AI shots are checked against the source photo and labelled in the film, but a buyer flying in from New York will still compare the dock to the video. And do not use a sky replacement to turn a hazy afternoon into a sunset without the "Digitally enhanced" label, which our photo tools add automatically. Read listing video without a drone if there were no aerials at all.
When a human videographer is still worth it
A photo-based film is the right tool when the photography is excellent and you need the film this week, in every format, with narration in Spanish as well as English. It is also a good companion to a crew film: the crew delivers the 3 minute hero piece, and the photo film covers the 9:16, 4:5 and MLS cuts you would otherwise pay to have re-edited.
One more limit, to be plain about it: our renders are 1080p today. 4K masters are on the Studio plan roadmap and not available yet.

Is a photo-based video good enough for a luxury listing?
With excellent photography and slow pacing, yes, for social, the MLS and the listing website. For a lifestyle film with people and real motion, hire a crew and use ours for the extra cuts.
Can I add drone footage?
Not video clips. Drone stills work well and get camera moves like any other photo.
Do you render in 4K?
Not yet. Films render at 1080p. 4K masters are planned for the Studio plan and marked coming soon.
Can the narration be in another language?
Yes. All 10 voices speak English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Hindi, Italian, Dutch, Japanese and Chinese, which helps with international buyers.
