Turn one listing into a week of posts
One condo, one shoot, one film, seven different posts. The plan day by day, and what makes each post feel new.

Take a 600 square foot studio condo in Lincoln Park, Chicago. One shoot, 14 photos, a 28 second film. Most agents would post the film once on Monday, maybe again before the open house, and call it done. That leaves a lot of the shoot on the table.
Here is how we would spread that one listing over seven days without anyone feeling sold to. Move the days around your schedule; the order is what matters.
Sunday night: get the pieces in one place
Have every cut ready: vertical, 4:5, square, widescreen and the unbranded MLS version. Pick six to eight photos, labelled edits included. Put up a listing page with the film, gallery and a showing request form, and print its QR code for the sign rider. Write down three things you want people to remember (for this condo: the south light, the in-unit laundry, the four minute walk to the Fullerton stop). Draft captions per platform; the free caption generator does a decent first pass.
The week
| Day | Post | Cut |
|---|---|---|
| Mon | Just listed: the full film, price, size, link to the listing page | Vertical on Reels and TikTok; 4:5 on the Facebook feed |
| Tue | One room: the kitchen nook, held long, one line about the storage | Vertical clip; the same film on Shorts with a searchable title |
| Wed | The block: the walk to the train, the coffee shop, the park, using the exterior shots | Vertical with narration |
| Thu | Before and after: the original exterior next to the labelled twilight version | Carousel |
| Fri | Open house: Saturday 11 to 1, over the hook shot | Vertical and Stories |
| Sat | Open house day: a Stories reminder in the morning | Stories |
| Sun | Recap: widescreen film on YouTube and the listing page, thanks to everyone who came | Widescreen, plus a feed post |
Change one thing every post
Followers forgive repetition when each post gives them something new. On Monday the kitchen opens the film; on Wednesday it is the street. Monday's call to action is “book a showing”, Tuesday's is “ask me for the floor plan”, Friday's is “save Saturday”. A question like “Would you work from this window seat?” pulls comments in a way “Just listed” never does.
You do not need a new edit for each. Ask the AI Director for “open on the street instead” and only that change re-renders.
Send every post to one link
Every caption points to the same listing page. It keeps your bio link simple, gives buyers the full picture, and tells you which posts actually sent people. A listing website shows views, plays, watch depth and where visitors came from, so by Thursday you know whether Instagram or the email did the work.
The channels that are not social
Send the square or widescreen film to your email list on Monday with two sentences and the link; plenty of people who never see your posts open your emails. The QR code on the sign rider lets someone parked outside watch the film on the spot. Send the link to buyer agents who work the neighbourhood; a film is easy for them to forward. And give the seller the link: their friends and neighbours are an audience you will never reach on your own, and most sellers are happy to share it.
After day seven
Still on the market after two weeks? Post a status or price update with a new opening shot, not the same film again. When it goes under contract, update or pull the posts that invite showings. And when it closes, cut a just sold version: it is the best proof you can show the next seller. Our just listed, open house and just sold pages cover each of those films, and the listing video marketing plan runs the whole cycle from coming soon to closed.
One rule across the week: every post has to hold up at a showing. Label staged and edited photos every time they appear, including on day five. Do not hint at competing offers that do not exist.
The plan only works if it does not eat your week. In Property Video Generator you lay the posts out on a calendar once, each with its own caption. Direct posting to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn turns on as each platform approves our app; until then you download the cut and copy the caption. Current status on auto posting.

Questions agents ask
How often should I post a new listing on social media?
Several times over its first week works well, as long as each post shows something different: the full film, one room, the neighbourhood, the open house. Posting the same video daily wears people out.
Should I post the same listing video on Instagram and TikTok?
Yes, the same vertical cut works on both. Change the caption, put the city in the TikTok caption, and post a file without another app's watermark.
What should I post after a listing sells?
A just sold version of the film with the final status, plus a thank you to the sellers if they are happy to be mentioned. It is your strongest proof for the next listing appointment.
